Corporate Strategy
The only good strategy is an executable one. That is the core of EFR’s philosophy. Our history in refining strategies to be executable is a core of our value proposition.
Brand Development
Technology companies almost always get the hard math and physics correct, but ironically frequently fail because the softer things are “wrong”. These all tie to brand, so EFR works with branding firms that can help companies truly identify their unique value propositions and communicate them.
Organisation Development
Any organisation that thinks that it is “stable” is wrong. Companies need to be changing, which means that their organisations need to change. The most complex and challenging issues are small companies that are dynamically growing and need to embrace the changes in policies, procedures, and cultural elements that support such change. Second to that is larger companies that need to act more dynamically to address changes in their markets.
International Business Development
A good company must be local, a great company needs to be global, but act local. Smaller companies often have significant issues growing globally, which is an area that EFR can help.
Corporate Finance
At our heart we are engineers, so it pains us to admit that corporate finance is not only critical, but core to the success of almost any company. We are not an investment bank, and do not want to be, but we do appreciate advising companies with respect to corporate finance. We also enjoy working closely with investment banks.
Talent Development
Technology companies tend to fall into three groups – mainly physical capital (property, plant, and equipment), mainly intellectual capital (what humans do), and a combination of both. No matter which group you are in, our experience is that talent development (change) is normally required and a challenge that is scary for the organisation. EFR makes change as easy and logical as possible.
